Adrienne's Singer/Keynote Speaker Biography:
Often called the Discipline Doctor, Adrienne is a not only the Program Director for Get-A-Grip Learning Center, but also a native of Washington, DC, who has performed throughout her career with the Innerstrength Gospel Choir in Boston, MA, Split Personality Band and other musical artists. She has been recognized for her award-winning speeches, in motivating audiences world-wide.

She has a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering. While on active duty in the US Army, she earned a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. During her time in the military, she entertained troops throughout the United States and abroad, as a member of the 1998 US Army Soldier's Show cast. She is the current Vice-President of Education for Capitol I Toastmasters. She sings with the Split Personality and other local bands, performing a variety of gospel, rhythm and blues, and popular music. She is the lead instructor at the 5House Leadership Academy, and teaches students from grades three through college, always planting seeds of encouragement and self-enpowerment, and watering those seeds with words of achievement through planning, practice and life-long preparation.
Ms. Vyfhuis continues to work passionately with youth and families in the Washington, DC area to engage the minds of her students to become even more than the generation that preceeded them. Life is about learning from experience, where each experience is making the book of her life even richer. Her motto is that you must get a grip on life, or it will get a grip on you.
